There are wineries in every state in the United States
including Alaska and Hawaii. California has the most wineries as one would
expect. Wineries are regulated by the Federal government which regulates the
wine regions known as AVA's and the grape content of varietals wines. Wine labels
have to be approved by the Federal government. Each state has its own
regulations regarding the interstate shipment of wine into its locality. Many
wineries have tasting rooms and retail shops where there wine can be tasted and
purchased.
Wine Racks International is pleased to provide this directory
of wineries. Wineries which are underlined have links to their websites. Simply
